Alphabet Academy has been such a great experience for my kids and I. All the staff is very loving and caring they show my kids so much love and the way my kids show it back shows how good they’ve been to them. They stay very active with the kids, always do fun things for them, they are very good with their daily reports and sending daily pictures, they respond right away to any concerns, their new facility is very nice & kid friendly & we love Blanca. I was worried at 1st because this was my kids very 1st daycare to ever to attend but they ended off loving it. Unfortunately because of funds we are having to transfer but Alphabet Academy will always have a special place in our hearts and i will always be thankful for their great care.
Our youngest has been at Alphabet for over a year (at previous and now new location) and we love it. Our friends used them and made the recommendation when our previous daycare had to close suddenly and we could not be happier with the switch. The teachers are so kind and engaged. They share photos regularly and our little one is excited to go inside every morning. We recommend Alphabet to all our new parent friends.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alphabet Academy in Denton! My son has been attending for nearly a year and a half, and the growth I’ve seen in him during this time has been incredible. From day one, the owners, Dorothy and Juwan, have been warm, welcoming, and truly invested in his development. They create a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued, and excited to learn and the teachers are truly wonderful. Our son absolutely adores all of his teachers, especially Dorothy and “his Blanca”. 🙂
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to keep kids engaged and challenged, with a balance of structured activities and free play. My kiddo’s communication skills, confidence, and social interactions have all flourished, and it’s clear that the teachers genuinely care about the well-being and progress of each child.
The facility is clean, well-maintained, and full of educational resources that spark creativity. Their recent move to a bigger, brighter space with more areas to play, better safety features, ample parking, and a convenient location is a huge perk. But what really sets Alphabet Academy apart, though, is the strong sense of community. My son has built lasting friendships, and I’ve always felt supported as a parent. I can confidently say that Alphabet Academy has provided him with a fantastic foundation for his future. I’m beyond grateful for the exceptional care and education he has and continues to receive here. Highly recommend!

Would absolutely recommend the Alphabet Academy Learning center family to anyone in Denton looking for a loving, safe, and dependable daycare facility. My child has been enrolled for for a year and a half and I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know the teachers well, because unlike other schools in the area, AALC has no teacher turn over problems. I love the structured day they provide with a wide variety of fun and enriching activities. I really feel like my child is loved and cared for and they enjoy going every day.

Our son just started attending in November and his vocabulary has exploded. We can see how he works well with others and his creative skills (dancing and drawing) have been cultivated at the school. He is eager every morning to start playing, sometimes he forgets to wave goodbye! Love the staff, the attention he is given, the location, the food he is provided. We are lucky to have found this hidden gem!
We love love love Alphabet Academy! Affordable daycare is very hard to find in Denton, but we were blessed to be able to find this place! We placed our son here in 2020 as an infant, months before the pandemic hit. Due to uncertainty with COVID, we pulled him daycare and kept him home while I worked from home. We re-enrolled him as a toddler after remote work privileges were ending and still feel the same about this place! We were blessed again to be able to keep him where he was remembered and well cared for! The daycare takes extra precautions for the safety of other kids, which I appreciate! We plan to keep our son here long-term!
Update: my son is now 5 and will be starting school next year. I feel blessed to still have my oldest here where they treat him with kindness like he was family. My 2 year old has been here since the infant room was re-opened too and is thriving!
I absolutely LOVE this daycare! They are so attentive to my son and keep me updated throughout the whole day! The staff is truly a blessing!
This is one of the best daycare. My grandson adored his teaches, who were so patient with him. He loved going and learned a great deal in prepping for kindergarten.
Our 4.5 year old started at Alphabet Academy in June and it was the best decision we could have made. He had come from a different daycare in town and it was such a chaotic, unhelpful environment. We felt like he had regressed in his development. When we brought him to Alphabet Academy, the owner Ms. Dorothy and the rest of the staff were so understanding of our situation and we immediately felt he was in great hands. Our son has a speech delay with a moderate stutter but as he got settled into Alphabet Academy, his speech just blossomed, it was a night and day difference. The school is a fun and stress-free environment and the staff is helping our son catch up to where he needs to be, preparing him for kindergarten. It is a smaller school, which we appreciate due to the smaller ratio of students to staff, giving students the attention they need, especially when it comes to their learning & development. Our son loves going to Alphabet Academy and we are so thankful for this school and the staff!
I do not have enough words to explain how grateful and amazed I am with this small family owned daycare, my boys attended Alphabet Academy for a short time of 6 months and we absolutely loved it! Within the first day of attending my little ones were already asking to go back the next day and excited for their new school. The staff is very kind and loving and run the facility greatly, if it weren’t for my job relocation and me not being able to pick up the children before they closed we would not be looking for a new daycare. Thank you very much!!!
My daughter has been enrolled at Alphabet Academy for almost a year now. Within that year she has learned more than she would’ve had we kept her at home. She’s now speaking in sentences, expressing her feelings, counting, knows her colors etc. She just turned 3 and I’m marveled at how much she has learned by attending this facility. She’s excited to go to daycare and see her friends and teachers every day. The owners are truly one of a kind people who care about each child and make sure to get to know each one of them.
My son started here in 2020. When I say Alphabet Academy is by far one of the best daycares that my son attends. Everyone is very Attentive, loving, and caring. Ms. Urmila really cares for the children. Since COVID-19 the staff do they very best to make sure the children are safe and protected. I get notifications daily on my son progress from activities that day, what he had for lunch, and pictures. It makes everything worth it. I recommend anyone to come check them out. I’m so thankful that they also have Pre-K, and Kindergarten bc this is where my son will be. Thanks Alphabet Academy for being great!!
Both of my children have been attending Alphabet Academy for almost a year now. They absolutely love the teachers and other children. The staff is amazing and communicate well with the parents. I would highly recommend this daycare!
I love this daycare. The owners are so sweet and involved in the classes; Miss Kourtney is my sons teacher and she is phenomenal. She cares so much about the children. My son has blossomed so much being there since March 2019 and Everyone is so kind and respectful. My son is about to start potty training in underwear only and miss Kourtney is super accepting to that! I would definitely recommend them to anyone. In fact, my friends children have started there this week and they are in love with it!
We love Alphabet Academy!! My son started out at Adventureland and when Ms. Dorothy opened up Alphabet Academy we switched to that one to be closer. She cares so much about these kids and only employs teachers that do too. My son has best friends he plays with there, eats their food more than mine, and has learned so, so much. Very affordable compared to all the daycares we have researched, and you just get more out of every aspect of Alphabet Academy than we ever did with our other daycare.
Alphabet Academy has been great for our son. Not only are the affordable but they go over and beyond to ensure every need is met. My son has learned more than we even could have imagined. They also keep the place spotless. The best part is that it is a family environment which makes me a a parent, and i’m sure my son much more comfortable.
This was my sons very first time at a daycare and we fell in love with the first place we picked. Not only was the price affordable for us but my son absolutely loves going here! The staff is friendly and I feel safe having my child go here. We highly recommend this place! Just after a few short months of going here, my son has learned so much. He’s always happy to get up in the morning to go to school and very happy when we pick him up.
This daycare doesn’t slack in any of the important areas! I know my son gets water from a clean cup, time to play outside in a shaded area enclosed by a privacy fence with no bugs, fed surprisingly awesome meals from a former chef and restaurant owner, circle time where he is actively taught lessons, and care by teachers who are free of hostility. These things are not prevelant in all daycares, in my unfortunate experience, but they are here. I value this place highly!
We have been with Alphabet Academy for four years now. We appreciate the close community and willingness of the Fernando’s to keep our kids safe. Highly recommend to all.
Such a wonderful place for our girls to spend their days. They are so excited each morning. The owner and staff are an amazing group of folks, they educate with great compassion and care for our girls as family would.
Wonderful daycare. I have a 2 and 4 year that have been going here since they were months old. I highly recommend for childcare they provide a safe, very clean, and great learning environment for children.
